With a lot of tinkering and attention to detail, we adapted and simplified a well-known home remedy to meet new requirements.

Only fresh, dry ground coffee (filter coffee) is suitable for burning in the VapoWesp incense box, as it contains essential oils that enable smoldering. You can use any type of commercially available ground coffee (no ready-made cappuccino mixes, instant coffee, etc.).
Used coffee grounds are unfortunately NOT suitable . The essential oils have been completely washed out and cannot be ignited. The coffee grounds also cannot be freshly ground – they will still be too moist. They must dry thoroughly for at least four weeks.
Unfortunately, smoldering coffee grounds alone have a very strong smell and spoil the enjoyment outdoors. Our VapoPulvere blends are specially developed herbal mixtures for flavoring the coffee smoke.
All herbal blends are organic. We have certificates of inspection for each individual ingredient, as it is very important to us to ensure insect-friendly production methods right from the start.
Because we buy our herbs in large quantities, our vapor powders are significantly cheaper than commercially available organic herbs.
However, if the smell of regular coffee smoke doesn't bother you, you can of course leave out the herbal blends. We'll leave that up to your nose :)
Try it out! We achieved the best smoldering ability of the coffee powder in the recommended mixing ratio – too much VapoPulse powder quickly smothers the embers.
Our recommendation: Mix 2 heaped teaspoons of fresh, dry coffee powder with one heaped teaspoon of VapoPulver of your favorite variety in a stainless steel container.
You can simply wipe the smoking box itself with a slightly damp cloth (without cleaning agents, as the bamboo wood is untreated) - just make sure to store the box dry indoors when not in use.
We recommend cleaning the stainless steel parts after at least every second use with common cleaning agents for stainless steel (stainless steel cleaner, oven spray, or similar) and some steel wool.

It is important that you hang the stainless steel bowl in the lid holder and under no circumstances place it in the smoker box, otherwise the heat will cause a burn mark!
