While we were able to enjoy our small family vacation in Mallorca free of wasps and mosquitoes, the Mallorca Magazine reported on a mosquito plague on the island.
The summer in Mallorca attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world with sun, sea, and relaxed evenings outdoors. Unfortunately, a mosquito plague is making this longed-for trip difficult for people. The combination of rain and high temperatures has accelerated the mosquito life cycle and led to an explosive increase in their numbers. Mosquitoes are especially active in the afternoons and evenings, causing annoying bites.
